A recent five length victory over 2006 Galway Hurdle winner Cuan Na Grai at Tipperary was the ideal prep run for Bahrain Storm for this year’s race, and the 2009 winner can make his presence felt this afternoon despite being a stone higher in the weights.
A summer horse who’ll love the ground Bahrain Storm hosed up in this race 12 months ago, and chasing his third win at the track he’ll be hard to keep out of the frame.
Over at Goodwood Michael Jarvis could well be celebrating shortly after 5.00pm, as he saddles Cansili Star in the seven furlong handicap.
He’ll love the undulating nature of the track, has made great strides this season, and has claims in this contest if you consider how well the form of his Epsom win turned out.
Good luck!
