Steve Claridge

Steve Claridge has joined the Betting Directory to give his best tips for the live football each week. The ex-footballer has a huge knowledge of the game having played over 800 matches at all levels for over twenty clubs across the country and scoring over 250 goals in the process.

Steve has scored goals wherever he has played, from non-league Weymouth to Birmingham City where he became the first Blues player to score 20 goals in a season since Trevor Francis. Steve’s most successful period as a player came when he signed for Leicester City for £1.2m in 1996 and became an integral part of the Martin O’Neill side who more than held their own in the Premier League, as well as scoring the winning goal in the 1997 League Cup replay.

Since hanging up his boots, Steve co-wrote his autobiography ‘Tales From The Boot Camps’, detailing his colourful career and a love for betting and he keeps his eye in now working as a football pundit for the BBC, on such shows as Football Focus, Final Score The Football League Show and regular co-commentary spots on BBC 5Live. His love for the sport plus an eye for a bet means Steve will be contributing his best bets during the upcoming season.

Steve is available for personal appearances, promotions and events, product & brand endorsements and media opportunities. Please contact www.celebrityappearance.co.uk for more details
