To brighten up a dull Tuesday a big run is expected from David Pipe’s Painter Man in Leicester’s 0-110 Humberstone Handicap Hurdle at 4.10pm this afternoon.
Injury prone in the past, this is a horse who’s only had 16 career starts despite being a 10-year-old, and he can defy top weight off a mark of just 110 in a race which might not take too much winning, especially given his love of heavy ground.
If they’ve got him back to somewhere near his best form he ought to go very close in this company.
Some of the 5/2 available with any of Boylesports, Stan James and William Hill looks the way to go.
